CHANNEL REPORT
A group is being formed to deal with the Resourse Consent process which has
somewhat ballooned. The group is made up of Club members including an
Environmental Scientist and member of the Coastguard. Our aim is to keep the
members up to date with our progress as we will no doubt need whole hearted
support from all members if we are to achieve what we are setting out to do.
The cost of this process is not yet known but we would hope to have a pretty
good idea before the end of the month. We will report to the Committee who
in turn will keep you all updated as to what this exercise may cost and if
it is necessary put it to the membership for approval prior to any work
being undertaken.
