BOATING SAFETY EQUIPMENT

 

THE SIX ESSENTIALS THAT EVERY BOAT SHOULD HAVE ON BOARD

1.     Personal flotation devices (Life Jackets)
2.     Anchor, chain & warp
3.     Signalling equipment (at least two items )
4.     Secondary propulsion (auxiliary engine, jury rig sail, oars-paddles, kedging)
5.     Bailer (bucket, sponge, pump or plastic bottle with bottom cut out)
6.     Fire extinguisher
